Thats a Wrap on 2017

It seems as thou each year is going by faster and faster. Just seems like a couple of weeks ago we opened the 2017 Spring Season and here we are at the end of the Fall season. 2017 has proved to been an amazing year, with tons of new divers certified from our dive shop partners, divers that visited for the first time and of course our returning guests. The highlight was the Solar Eclipse which was beyond awesome here. Yeah it just don’t seem like it should be the end of our regular season.

We want to send out a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who visited us this season. It’s our guest that make diving here such a joy. Many things have been done over the season and it’s all because of our

guest. From having the hill paved to placing new artifacts in the water, it has really been one the of best seasons in our 23 year history. Our staff was talking back in the early part of the season about the old days here. The days when there wasn’t any pavilions, concessions and just the old office trailer to check in at. We even broke out the old photo album (yes, their not digital) and was in awe of how much our guest have changed this old hole in the rock to an amazing and popular scuba diving destination. So not only for this season but for all the seasons that came before it, too the almost 20,000 guest that have checked in and dove with us over the years Thank You.

Now we look to the future. The 2018 Season and what we have to do to get there. Of course as each year we will be taking some time off to rest up before jumping back and starting on our yearly maintenance schedule but also using this time to plan out our 2018

schedule. As many already know Co-Owner Kris Tapp is taking on full time at the resort. With this, there will be more time added to our season. We have looked as several possible ways to do that. A year around schedule would be awesome to do but we have to look at the financial aspect of it. Of course with the majority of our guest visiting in the warmer months, we changed and added a 6th day to our 2017 summer hours. Our winter reservations schedule has been the topic of conversation over the past several weeks. From being open on weekends, Friday & Saturdays to one weekend a month. So starting 2018 we will be open the last weekend of the month. Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm. Of course we may have to change dates based on weather.

Our season pass program will continue as it has the past several years. Spring season thru Fall season. Our current season pass holders will be receiving a renewal notice the first of December and must be renewed before December 31st. Our season pass early bird

sale will start on January 17th and run til January 31st.

We will continue to post any new or improvements to our Facebook page. We will not be updating water conditions weekly on our website, but we will have up to date conditions available so just send us an email, call, or message on Facebook.

In closing, all of us here at PSC Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide all of our guest a great facility for freshwater diving. We look forward to many more years serving the scuba community both locally and regionally. We are proud of this place and hope our guest are too. We look forward to seeing you in 2018.

Dennis, Kris and all of your PSC Blue Springs Family
