Dennis Tapp

Dennis Started his diving career in the early 1960’s and has continues to enjoy the sport today. Back in the days when

diving  and it’s dangers not fully known Dennis braved the unknown to explore the underwater world. Dennis was re-certified in the early 1980’s when his daughter went through open water class because he had lost his C-Card and to help her along in class. In 1991 he helped his son through open water class as a dive master under the instruction of Jeff Tucker.

Three years later Pennyroyal Scuba Opened by Dennis and his son started its first season. 10 years later Dennis has obtained the status as an instructor through Scuba Schools International.

Dennis brings 40 years of knowledge in the sport and also serves as the local dive rescue team chief. For great service see Dennis during your next visit.

Kris Tapp

Kris started his career in diving in 1991 as a junior open water diver. In 1994 only a sophomore in high school, him and his father joined up as a father son team and created Pennyroyal Scuba Center, in 1998 Kris became a certified Emergency Medical Technician and began studying dive related emergencies. In 2002 he became certified as an advanced open water diver. In 2003 He became licensed as a Paramedic, and also functions as a Paramedic at the resort on top of managing. Today Kris is continuing his education and furthering his knowledge in dive related emergencies and furthering his diving career. Together both Dennis and Kris bring over 50 years of experience to the resort. For great service during your next visit to Pennyroyal Scuba see Kris
